About this event

Coming on the heels of choreographer Catherine Gaudet’s astounding previous works, the company’s new work ODE is part pop-rock concert and part ritualistic ceremony. It channels the industrial happiness complex into a stripped-down exhortation of group-think conformity and cultural collapse. Catherine Gaudet has established a reputation for a strong style drawing on themes of psyche and identity. This production was the winner of the 2022 Grand Prix de la danse de Montréal. Performances begin at 8 p.m. at the Vancouver Playhouse.
