About this event
Join The Polygon Gallery for the unveiling of James Nexw’Kalus-Xwalacktun Harry’s new sculpture, Eye of the Ancestor. This striking yellow cedar sphere features carved Coast Salish designs and a mirror-polished steel interior, creating layered reflections that shift with the viewer's movement. The event begins with remarks at 6:30pm followed by a reception to celebrate the installation. The title of the work refers to Coast Salish visual language, where the eye represents awareness and continuity. Gallery admission is always by donation, and RSVPs for this specific event are encouraged.
